This year, Twin Lakes Secondary School (TLSS) is thrilled to be presenting a production of the play Murder On The Orient Express.

Based on the book by Agatha Christie, this adaptation for the stage is an enthralling and exceptionally entertaining murder mystery about an unlikely cast of potential suspects aboard the luxurious train, the Orient Express. The murder of a man in his cabin forces famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot to investigate the crime.

This production has been in rehearsal since November and features over 30 students from grade 9 to 12 in roles on stage and behind the scenes. The cast features both students making their stage debut and experienced performers, and you will recognize many of the talented actors from last year’s outstanding TLSS productions of Radium Girls and Thunder Years

Mounting a production like this involves a dedicated team of students and staff. A large staff committee works collaboratively on the production and students are involved in all aspects of the production including sound and lighting operation, set construction, hair and make-up design, photography and much more.

Murder on the Orient Express will be presented on April 10, 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. in the TLSS cafetorium. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the door or in advance by calling the TLSS office 705-325-1318.

Don’t miss this outstanding thrill-ride of a production!
